The research project “Preventing discrimination and persecution. Models of inclusion of religious minorities in the Euro-mediterranean space” (ReMinEm) compares different models of protecting and promoting religious minorities (RMs) in Europe and the Middle East.

The project has been realized with the support of the Unit for Analysis, Policy Planning, Statistics and Historical Documentation - Directorate General for Public and Cultural Diplomacy of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, in accordance with Article 23 ‒ bis of the Decree of the President of the Italian Republic 18/1967. We are grateful for the generous contribution that enabled the research to be carried out. Another project, titled "Inclusion of religious minorities and development of multicultural dialogue for the advancement of democracy. The potential of the Italian pattern in the Mediterranean area” (MiReDiaDe), also funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is underway and will enable the research to be extended to new countries.
